Corrugated Steel Pipe
Hel-Cor™Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) is the material of choice for today’s infrastructure projects because it offers the optimum combination of strength, flexibility and performance.
Hel-Cor™ Pipe possesses exceptional load carrying capacity and is relatively light in comparison to reinforced concrete pipe, making it more economical to ship. And with a mass of approximately 1/10th the mass of concrete pipe, it is easier and faster to install. Incorporating the proven strength of sinusoidal corrugations, Hel-Cor™ pipe barrels are formed with a helical continuous lock seam running parallel to the corrugations. The result is an extremely strong, yet light and economical, pipe.
Strong
Hel-Cor™ CSP will not crack under impact loads or vibrations due to the inherent strength of steel and the flexibility of the corrugated pipe section. The high ring compression of the steel pipe absorbs and transfers live and dead loads to the surrounding soil around the entire circumference.
Durable
The beam strength of the pipe section maintains the grade and line of the structure by bridging inequalities of the trench bottom and sidefill. These characteristics ensure that the conduit has a superior ability to maintain the hydraulic properties and capacity for which it was designed.
Long Service Life
The galvanized surface on our Corrugated Steel Products (CSP) provides a highly effective and economical protective coating which ensures a long service life of the basic steel structures. CSP is also available in Aluminized Type 2 and Polymer-Laminated to suit your project requirements. Wall Thicknesses and Profiles
Atlantic Civil Products’ corrugated steel pipe comes in a variety of corrugation profiles and thicknesses to meet a wide range of structural design applications.
- Thicknesses are 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 3.5 mm.
- Corrugation profiles are 68 x 13 mm, 75 x 25 mm and 125 x 25 mm.
- Custom lengths are available from 2m to 18 m. The most economical lengths to freight are 6 m and 12 m.
Coupling Systems
Hel-Cor™ pipe is quickly and simply joined on site with adjustable, pre-formed coupling bands which effectively resist shear and prevent adjacent pipe barrels disjointing. This ensures a smooth flow across the sections and results in excellent flow capacities throughout the service life of the system.

Atlantic Civil Products’ Hel-Cor™ corrugated steel pipe is supplied in Round Pipe, which is suitable for most applications.
Standard and Special Fittings
Standard CSP fittings such as tees, elbows, wyes, reducers and saddle branches are offered for the full range of pipe sizes to meet any normal design criteria. In addition to the standard line of CSP fittings, special fittings including manholes and catch basins are also readily available and can be fabricated for special applications.
