Bridge Decking

Heavy gauge deck is strongest in the industry

Decking

Atlantic Civil Products’ steel bridge decking is manufactured with 108 mm deep sections using Grade 50 (345 mPa) steel. Available in either pre-galvanized steel or bare steel, which can be prime painted, the decking is regularly used in new construction or to rehabilitate existing bridges. While we use the decking on our all-steel modular bridges, it can also be installed on bridges that are erected in the field.

Modular Bridges

Economical installation with reduced equipment needs and road closure time.

Atlantic Civil Products’ Modular Steel Bridges are ideal for construction detours and other temporary or permanent applications. They are less disruptive to the environment, and make ideal fish passage solutions. Installation is easy, even in rugged terrain. Local contractors using basic skill sets can often complete the installation within hours of the bridge arriving at the job site — and there’s no need to wait around for concrete to cure. If a crane is not accessible, excavators or loaders may be used to place the bridge on steel or concrete foundations.

A variety of loadings from SM-1600 to off-highway trucks can be accommodated. Our Modular Steel Bridges, in both single and multiple lane widths, are available for lease or purchase. Bridges 12 m and longer can also be provided, resulting in substantial weight and cost reductions.
